Numerical and Experimental Comparison Among a New Hybrid FT-Music Technique and Existing Algorithms for Through-the-Wall Radar Imaging

چکیده
A fast low-cost through-the-wall radar imaging (TWRI) system, based on a vector network analyzer (VNA), couple of switches and an array Vivaldi antennas, has been designed, realized, tested. To solve the TWRI inversion problem, original theoretical modeling for class techniques whose basic functions are cross-range Fourier transform (FT) scattered field its covariance operator proposed. Using these functions, four conventional algorithms, namely delay sum (DAS), FT, multiple signal classification (MUSIC), hybrid DAS-MUSIC new algorithm, FT-MUSIC, have derived. All implemented their accuracy view tested canonical scatterers. Then, algorithms applied to measured data collected in different scenarios constituted by metallic bar or human subject absence presence wall between antenna considered targets. proposed it possible detect located up 5-m away from through tuff wall. The FT-MUSIC algorithm evidenced performances similar those but with significantly lower execution times. Finally, terms immunity disturbances better compared MUSIC algorithm.

Knock and announce missions occur frequently on the urban battlefield. It would be advantageous to locate all of the humans inside an urban structure and obtain a "head count" prior to action. For this reason, we developed a through-wall radar sensor capable of locating moving targets through concrete-walled structures and of displaying the results (in range versus cross range) at a video frame...
متن کاملon the comparison of keyword and semantic-context methods of learning new vocabulary meaning
the rationale behind the present study is that particular learning strategies produce more effective results when applied together. the present study tried to investigate the efficiency of the semantic-context strategy alone with a technique called, keyword method. to clarify the point, the current study seeked to find answer to the following question: are the keyword and semantic-context metho...

متن کاملa comparison of teachers and supervisors, with respect to teacher efficacy and reflection
supervisors play an undeniable role in training teachers, before starting their professional experience by preparing them, at the initial years of their teaching by checking their work within the proper framework, and later on during their teaching by assessing their progress. but surprisingly, exploring their attributes, professional demands, and qualifications has remained a neglected theme i...

Through-the-Wall Radar imaging (TWRI) is emerging as a viable technology for providing high quality imagery of enclosed structures. TWRI makes use of electromagnetic waves to penetrate through building wall materials. Due to the " see " through ability, TWRI has attracted much attention in the last decade and has found a variety of important civilian and military applications. Signal processing...
